F U N C T I O N S The PAGASA, presently existing, is hereby reorganized and shall have the following functions: Maintain a nationwide network pertaining to observation and forecasting of weather and other climatological conditions affecting national safety, welfare of the people; Undertake researches on the structure, development and motion of typhoons and formulate measures for their moderation; and
