RSi Lemhaf
Si Lemhaf is a Tunisian alternative pop band widely recognized for laying the foundation of the region's modern pop era. Formed in 2009 by Mehdi (producer, songwriter, vocalist, and sound engineer) and Mondher (director and guitarist), alongside guitarist Scoola and drummer Kombass, the band broke new ground by introducing a previously unheard fusion of electronic, synth-pop, hip hop, rock and indie aesthetics to Tunisian lyricism. Early in their career, the members concealed their identities behind their signature "Mr. Smart" teddy bear mascot, directing public focus entirely toward their music and visual storytelling. This independent approach built a massive core following and yielded defining albums like 7ess (2011), Kharej Mel 7it (2012), Ak7el Wa7mer (2015), and UPDATE (2021). Throughout this evolution, they delivered tracks that have become timeless cultural staples, most notably "Enti Essout" and the 2012 national football team anthem, "Grinta."
