Ahmed Fahmi is the leader of the WAMA band, he founded with Mohamed Nour. He's the leading singer and songwriter, playing also violin when he doesn't write lyrics. His compositions are diverse as well as various from modern music for orchestra to scores for solos. Ahmed Fahmi won numerous music contests around the world and the last one was in 2001 in Spain. Evolving from classic music where he played in international concerts to Arab pop music was for him unavoidable.
