Syamsul Yusof is a Malaysian actor, film director, film producer, screenwriter, film editor, music composer, song writer, rapper and singer. He is the son of producer & director Datuk Yusof Haslam. He sets the record as the youngest director to win the Malaysian Film Festival for best director award, doing so at the age of 26. Won five times best director awards ever since at the Malaysian Film Festival & Anugerah Skrin. Including recently Syamsul Yusof was named Best Director at the 57th Asia Pacific Film Festival in Cambodia for his work in the horror/religious movie Munafik. Munafik also is the highest grossing Malaysian film with total 19 million in collections at the box office. (Including Singapore & Brunei Darussalam)
