Born in Istanbul in 1991, Başak Gümülcinelioğlu is an actress, singer, songwriter, composer, architect, translator, and an advocate for children’s and animal rights. On this YouTube channel, she shares her original songs, acoustic performances, cover versions, and special music projects. She has appeared in popular Turkish TV series including Yargı, Aşkı Hatırla, Sen, Ben, O, Sen Çal Kapımı, Erkenci Kuş and more. Her song “Sen Çal Kapımı,” written and composed by her for the TV series Sen Çal Kapımı, won the Number One Video Music Award for Best TV Series Soundtrack. Başak hosts acoustic cover series #İstekŞarkı, which won the Best Digital Music Project Award. She has performed with the Istanbul Symphony Orchestra and Ferhat Livaneli Orchestra, on major stages including Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu Open Air Theatre and Maslak Uniq, and continues her live performances worldwide.
