UCLADANIVA
Ladaniva, led by the talented vocalist Jaklin Baghdasaryan and French multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas, creates richly textured world music inspired by the many places they have traveled. Their sound blends traditional Armenian influences with elements of Balkan music and reggae, moving beyond folklore to shape a unique and vibrant musical identity. The band has since released several global hits, including “Kef Chilini,” which has become an anthem at celebrations across the Armenian diaspora and has garnered over 26 million views on YouTube. Other standout tracks include the lively pop song “Shakar” and “Jako,” which was performed before tens of millions of viewers at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, where Ladaniva represented Armenia. In 2026, Ladaniva returns with a bold and energetic second album, set for release on 13 November 2026. Its first single, “Yasaman,” is already out.
