Alexandra Căpitănescu is a Romanian singer-songwriter whose project is brought to life alongside a dedicated live band, that features Bogdan Stoican (guitar, songwriter, producer), Matei Cohal (bass, music producer), Luca Șofron (drums), and Thomas Cîrcotă (keyboards). In 2026, Alexandra Căpitănescu and her band won Eurovision Romania with the song "Choke Me." Their powerful performance earned them 3rd place in the Grand Final, marking one of Romania's strongest Eurovision results in recent years. One of the most acclaimed new acts in Romania, receiving the Best Emerging Artist at ELLE Style Awards 2026, Best Rock Act and Best New Artist at The Artist Awards 2026. She is also the winner of The Voice of Romania 2023. They performed at some of Romania's biggest music festivals, including UNTOLD, Electric Castle, and Rockstadt Extreme Fest. Following their Eurovision success, the band embarked on a European tour and are now preparing to release their full-length English-language album.
