Welcome to KNIPEX! Our story began over 140 years ago in a little forge – today we are still an independent, family-owned company. About 1,500 employees develop and manufacture daily over 45,000 pairs of pliers at our site in Wuppertal-Cronenberg, Germany. They are then distributed, via a network of subsidiaries, representatives and importers, to our customers in over 100 countries. Every new product and every improvement are thought through to the tiniest detail and trialed in tough load and endurance test, before we release them into the hands of our users.
