Abdel Halim Hafez‎, was an Egyptian singer, actor, and movie producer. June 21, 1929 – March 30, 1977. He is considered to be one of the greatest Egyptian musicians Sout El Phan was established in 1961 by two of the most renowned artists in the Middle East Mohamed Abdel Wahab and Abdel Halim Hafez. The company owns their catalogues among other productions.
