The one and only BET nominated, Nairobi based hip hop group, Camp Mulla. Camp Mulla was an alt. hip-hop group from Nairobi, Kenya consisting of members Taio Tripper , K’Cous, Shappa Man, FKA Miss Karun, and Mykie Toni. The group rose to prominence with the release of their single "Party Don't Stop" on 31 August 2010, with that and their subsequent works earning them nominations in 2012 for Best International Act (Africa) at the 2012 BET Awards, MTV EMA awards (Europe), M.O.B.O Awards (UK), BEFFTA awards,Channel O MVA awards (SA) and more. After three years of success and fame, the group disbanded, but are still fondly remembered within the Kenyan Music industry as undeniable pace setters, ahead of their time.
