CRony Barrak
Rony Barrak is an internationally acclaimed Lebanese percussionist, composer and master of the Darbouka. He began playing at age four and launched his professional journey as a child performer. After moving to London in 1990, he studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Rony has performed and recorded with leading international artists and orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic and many others. He has released four fusion albums: Aramba, Karizma, Darbouka City and Cycle of Return, plus MaldiRon. Since 2009, he has composed and premiered major symphonic works including Beirut Sensations, Phoenicia and Boulder Sensations, bringing the Darbouka into the world of symphonic music. BraVo Award winner – Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow, 2026. This is much more compact, but still gives people the key things they need to know about you.
