In 2024, he won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series for Only Murders in the Building, becoming the first Asian composer in history to win a Primetime Emmy for original score. His credits include Only Murders in the Building, This Is Us, Paradise, Imperfect Women, Elsbeth, Running Point, The Idea of You, and Swapped. He is the founder and frontman of the band Goldspot.
