Hossain Mohammad Salim (In Bengali: হোসাইন মোহাম্মদ সেলিম) is a prominent social reformer, author, and the Supreme Leader (Emam) of the non-political movement Hezbut Tawheed. As the high command of the movement, he works for social reform and countering extremism. Founder of Hezbut Tawheed: The Honorable Emam-uz-Zaman Muhammad Bayazeed Khan Panni. He was born in the Panni family of Tangail on the holy night, Laila tul Barat in 1925, corresponding to the 11th of March. He left this world for his eternal abode on the 16th of January 2012. Founding date of Hezbut Tawheed: 16th February 1995 (CE) at Korotia, Tangail. Type: Hezbut Tawheed is a completely nonpolitical reformist movement, the main theme of which is to unite humankind based on truth and resist the root cause of all unrest among humanity, the Dajjal, to reaffirm the global peace promised by the Almighty.
