Born Jamar Brown-Core in Chicago’s Roseland neighborhood, his upbringing between the city and suburbs shaped his storytelling and fueled his artistry. Influenced by Kanye West, J. Cole, Ludacris, and Linkin Park, Ramaj blends soulful introspection with gritty, underground hip-hop vibes. Relocating to Los Angeles in 2011, Ramaj’s career has flourished with collaborations and notable achievements.
