The temple construction and maintenance is being supervised by the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The ground-breaking ceremony was performed on 5 August 2020 by India’s prime minister Narendra Modi. The temple premises will include temples dedicated to deities Surya Narayan, Ganesha, Shiva, Durga, Hanuman and Annapurna. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is a trust set up by the government of India in February 2020. It's main purpose is the construction and management of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi in Ayodhya.
