The official global channel of AlphaTheta Corporation — known for developing industry-leading DJ products through brands like AlphaTheta, Pioneer DJ, rekordbox, TORAIZ, and KUVO. In addition to our core DJ business, we are expanding into software and digital services. Our story began in 1992, when a product planner in Japan became interested in DJ and club culture. Back then, “DJ” wasn’t a familiar term in Japan, and the idea of a “CDJ” was hard to grasp. But after searching around the company, he met an architect, which led to the launch of the club-standard CDJ-500. He spent hours in front of DJ booths, asked artists questions, wore out mixtapes, and even became a DJ himself. Today, we continue this hands-on approach and create products with artists.
