ABOUT PAUL BALOCHE For over three decades, Paul Baloche has shaped the landscape of modern worship as a songwriter, leader, and mentor. He is the pen behind global anthems like “Open the Eyes of My Heart,” “Above All,” “Hosanna (Praise Is Rising),” and “Behold Him.” However, his mission extends far beyond the stage. An ordained minister with an MDiv, Paul served as Worship Pastor at Community Christian Fellowship in Texas for 25 years. Driven by a desire to equip the local church, he founded LeadWorship.com, a platform providing workshops and resources to empower musicians worldwide. A prolific writer, he contributes to Worship Leader and ChurchLeaders.com and has authored books including God Songs and The Same Love. Now based in Philadelphia with his wife, Rita, Paul remains committed to mentoring the next generation through touring and hands-on training. His legacy is defined not just by the songs he writes, but by the leaders he raises up to serve the global Church.
