My name is Pam Palmater, and I'm an Indigenous lawyer, professor, author, and podcaster who creates educational videos about Indigenous rights, truth, and justice. I'm a registered Indian (First Nations person), a registered member of Ugpi'ganjig (Eel River Bar First Nation), and a citizen of the Mi’kmaw Nation. I was born and raised in Mi’kma’ki (Mi'kmaw territory on the East Coast of Canada and the US).
