This is the YouTube home of Sanger Academy. Our videos are made by Dr. Larry Sanger, co-founder of Wikipedia. Larry loves making educational videos for kids. He has a Ph.D. in philosophy. He also has two boys whom he taught to read when they were toddlers, and whom he now homeschools. Larry was tapped by a Memphis-area philanthropist to create WatchKnowLearn.org and ReadingBear.org. He is now at work on—among other things—Sanger Academy's videos. These videos began life as a series of powerpoints for those boys. "I love explaining things to kids, so that's what I do," Larry says. "I also love that my videos are popular and that parents and teachers praise them. This makes me want to make more!"
