Lynda Carter, first known as TV’s Wonder Woman, is a celebrated actress, acclaimed singer, and philanthropist. Named by The Washington Post among the “best superhero performances of all time,” she has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Honors include the 2025 Ms. Foundation Women of Vision Award, 2022 Sor Juana Legacy Award, and 2016 AmVets Ladies Auxiliary Humanitarian Award. Her career spans five CBS variety specials, four albums, nine singles, roles in Hawkeye, Partners in Crime, and Supergirl, voice work in The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, and films like Super Troopers, The Dukes of Hazzard, and Wonder Woman 1984. She founded the Robert & Lynda Altman Family Foundation, serves on major advisory boards, and supports causes from the ERA Coalition to GLAAD. She is mother to James and Jessica Carter Altman, and her late husband, Robert A. Altman, remains her inspiration.
