On December 1, 1983, while attending Aoyama Gakuin Senior High School, he made his vinyl record debut with the single "I Love You at 15" ("15 no Yoru") and the album 十七歳の地図 (Seventeen's Map). Until his passing on April 25, 1992, he released a total of 71 songs across six original albums and various singles. Mark his 40th debut anniversary in December 2023, his artistic achievements and his messages—particularly to teenagers—continue to resonate widely across generations and eras to this day.
