CEuropean Chess Union
European Chess Union is an independent association founded in 1985 in Graz, Austria, and it is the only organisation which has the right to organize various European Chess Championships. It has 54 Federations members, and more than 8.000.000 of chess fans and friends within Europe. Every year the ECU organizes more than 20 prestigious events and championships. The ECU has its seat in Hunenberg See, Switzerland.
