CKoharu Sugawara
Japanese female dancer / choreographer. KOHARU started dancing at the age of 10 and won multiple dance contests such as “DANCE ATTACK” and “SHONEN CHAMPLE” as a teenager. In 2010, she flew to Los Angeles, where she formed her own original style of dance, which caught the eyes of many dancers around the world.KOHARU has worked with and is loved by many famous artists in and outside of Japan. She has done choreography for 2NE1, Girls Generation, Kumi Koda, Crystal Kay, etc, and has danced for RIHANNA, Girls Generation, SMAP, Namie Amuro,and many other big name artists. Now based in Japan, KOHARU flies around the world to countries in EUROPE, ASIA, NORTH and SOUTH AMERICA, etc. to teach at dance workshops and can also be seen in advertisements for big name international brands and also fashion magazines. She was featured as a dancer in the NIKE+ FUELBAND SE ad campaign in 2013, and since then, has been appearing in the company’s ad campaigns as a NIKE ATHLETE.
