GHNNAYA is an independent music project where cultures, languages and generations meet. Rooted in the music of the Maghreb, GHNNAYA now explores a broader universe: raï, chaâbi, gnawa, aïta, Hassani, Arabic pop, mahraganat, Egyptian sounds, African and Mediterranean influences, country, rock, electronic music and contemporary fusions. The project brings together original songs and reimagined classics in Arabic, Darija, French, English, Spanish and more. GHNNAYA is a musical laboratory where heritage meets creation, and musical memory meets new ideas.
