Australian singer/songwriter Vance Joy began playing Melbourne open mics in the late 2000s before deciding to pursue music full-time. Born James Keogh, he took his stage name from a character in Peter Carey's novel Bliss. His folk-pop single "Riptide" was an immediate success in Australia and led him to sign with Atlantic Records. His debut album, Dream Your Life Away, arrived in September 2014, followed by hits Mess is Mine, Georgia and Fire and the Flood. His second album, Nation of Two, was released in February 2018, featuring Lay It On Me, Saturday Sun and We're Going Home. In 2021, Vance Joy returned with 'Missing Piece' - 2x Platinum in Australia and a #1 at US Triple A Radio, which won Best Video at the ARIA Awards. It led into his third album, In Our Own Sweet Time (June 2022), featuring 'Clarity' (#3, US Alt Radio). The album brought 5 ARIA nominations and a second straight Best Video win, for 'Every Side of You'. www.vancejoy.com
