DYGL is Tokyo-based indie-rock band. DYGL connects the vibes of 1960s rock and 2000s garage-rock of The Strokes and The Districts; reverberated grooves, upbeat guitar fills and coarse vocals. With debut album “Say Goodbye to memory Den”, co-produced by Albert Hammond Jr. (The Strokes), and Grammy-winning engineer Gus Oberg in 2017, and single “Bad Kicks” produced by Rory Attwell (Palma Violets, Yuck, Veronica Falls) in 2018, 2019 looks to be DYGL’s breakout year. “it’s like sitting in a bar and listening to a lost tape of a band you didn’t hear from the ’80s like, ‘how did I not hear of this?’” - Albert Hammond Jr. , The Strokes ‘Say Goodbye To Memory Den’, is a riotous trip through indie, rock’n’roll and punk – all with a cheeky wink to some of the ’00s finest bands. - Leonie Cooper, NME These guys had the swagger, the style, and the groovy hooks to answer the musical question “Is this it?” with a resounding YES all over again. - Lyndsey Parker, Yahoo Music
