From his first foray into acting in Awqat Faragh (2006), Ahmed Hatem could establish his name as an exceptionally prominent talent, which placed him as many directors’ first choice among his peers of young actors. His repertoire includes several blockbuster films such as: The two installments of El Kenz (The Treasure), El Haram El Rabe'a (The Fourth Pyramid), Qeset Hob (Love Story), and El Ghassala (The Washing Machine). In addition, he starred in a plethora of TV hits, including: Vertigo, Ladayna Akwalon Okhra (We Further Comments), Fo'k Mostawa Elshobohat (Above Suspicion), Hekayty (My Story), and Haret El Yahoud (The Jewish Quarter) which all stirred a huge buzz around him. His upcoming films include: Amar 14 (Full Moon), El Serb, and Arousty. Currently he is shooting the upcoming film Ashiq, and the TV drama Shaqa 6 alongside Ruby, as well as the second part of Leh La'a (Why Not?) TV series alongside Menna Shalaby.
