He was American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. Hailing from Texas, Stevie brought the blues back into the mainstream and influenced a generation of guitarists. In spite of a relatively short-lived career, Steve is considered one of the most influential guitarists in the history of blues and Texas rock music, and one of the greatest musicians of his era. With his perhaps most famous band Double Trouble, he recorded several critically acclaimed albums and popular songs such as "Cold Shot," "Change It," and"Crossfire."
