I’m SSG Travis Mills, a retired United States Army Staff Sergeant, recalibrated warrior, motivational speaker, bestselling author, and founder of the Travis Mills Foundation. In 2012, I was critically injured in Afghanistan, becoming one of only five quadruple amputees from the post-9/11 era to survive combat injuries. I made a choice not to let my circumstances define me. Instead, I decided to keep moving forward, stay positive, and remind others that life is truly worth living.
