🔵 The Centre for Eastern Studies (OSW) was founded in 1990 in Warsaw. It began by grouping leading regional experts on the Soviet Union. Following its collapse, our focus remained on Russia, the Baltic states, the Caucasus and Central Asia, with attention paid to energy and military security. 🔵 Since then we have expanded to cover Central Europe, Turkey, the Middle East, China, Germany and the Nordic countries.
