www.lousandtheyakuza.com Lous and the Yakuza is an artist and singer-songwriter who spent her childhood between Congo, Belgium and Rwanda. She studied philosophy, learned music theory, wrote poetry and pursued her dream of a career in music. Her passion pushed her to produce 7 EPs, including 52 titles independently. At 22 years old, she signed with Columbia Records via Sony Music in France. Lous became known after the release of her first single Dilemme in September 2019, a track from her album Gore produced by El Guincho. Her hard-hitting, sensitive, and committed lyrics confirm that the phenomenon Lous & The Yakuza is a true revelation. Marie-Pierra adopted her artist name from the anagram Soul, the source of her musical inspiration, and Yakuza, the name she uses to describe her team of collaborators. Her style is a combination of trap, R&B, and pop, carried by a very effective soundtrack.
