Founded in 1987, Cyan is North America’s oldest independent game studio. Cyan began with beloved children’s titles such as The Manhole and Spelunx before moving on to creating the genre-defining games Myst and Riven. Cyan’s more recent releases, such as Obduction, Firmament as well as both the 2021 remake of Myst and the 2024 remake of Riven are built from the ground up as breathtaking 3D experiences, richly designed to let you get lost in fantastic new worlds. Cyan is known for visual excellence, unbridled creativity, and a desire to push the edges of what interactive stories can be.
