Naryan is a Finnish melancholic rock band. Blending melancholy and deeply emotional atmospheres with darker progressive rock and elements of classical music, Naryan creates music where mood and emotion always come first. Carefully crafted visual artwork forms an essential part of the band's identity, completing a world where beauty and darkness exist side by side. Naryan has released four albums: Naryan (2013), Black Letters (2016), The Withering (2020), and IV (2026). Throughout the years, the band has continued to develop its distinctive sound while staying true to the emotional depth and dark, cinematic atmosphere at the heart of its music. In March 2024, Naryan toured the Nordic countries with Swedish progressive metal band Soen, marking an important chapter in the band's journey. Following the release of IV in March 2026, Naryan has already turned its focus toward the future and is currently working on its fifth album.
