Renowned for her seamless synthesis of Western and Middle Eastern vocal traditions, her work has long defied borders, genres, and expectations. Over the years, her artistry has been widely recognised with numerous awards — including a French Grammy — as well as invitations to perform at landmark events, from Jean-Michel Jarre’s Millennium Concert at the Pyramids of Giza to appearances on major international film soundtracks including Kingdom of Heaven, Sahara, The Hulk, and Sex and the City 2. Her latest project, Parallel Universe, a duo collaboration with Samy Bishai, marks a bold new chapter in her ongoing exploration of sound and identity, and will be released in June 2026.
